Louis Joseph Dénommée

It is with great sadness, love, and gratitude for his life that we announce the passing of
Louis Joseph Dénommée on September 12, 2025, at St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 76.
Louis will be forever cherished by his devoted wife of 43 years, Linda Dénommée, and his
beloved sons Kenneth (Carleen) and Marc. He is also survived by his siblings, Helen, Romeo, May and Leonard.
He was predeceased by his parents, Juliette and Léo, and his siblings Lionel, Roger,
Léona, and Florence.
Louis was a proud Registered Practical Nurse for several decades at Hotel Dieu Shaver
Hospital, where he devoted himself to caring for others, helping patients heal, and reuniting them with their families.
He had a lifelong passion for gardening and found great joy in nurturing both his yard
and indoor plants. Louis was also an active and faithful member of the Port Colborne Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where he generously dedicated his time and heart.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing
him.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the St. Catharines Walker Family Cancer Centre for
their care and compassion. Donations in Louis’s memory may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society.
