It is with heavy hearts that the family of Louise E. Pillon announce her peaceful passing at the Windsor Hospice on Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, at the age of 56. 

Beloved wife of 27 years to Jason A. Pillon. Together, they created many wonderful memories and shared a love that knew no bounds. 

Loving mother to her two boys, Joshua A.T. Pillon and Aiden H.J. Pillon. 

Deeply missed by her parents; Brian and Janet Freak, her brother; Martyn and his wife Helen. 

She was predeceased by her adored and cherished grandparents Tom and Edna Mulford, and Tom and Lillian Freak.

Louise will be greatly missed and remembered by the entire Pillon family, extended family, coworkers, students, and many friends. 

Louise had a passion for travelling, starting by leaving London, England and heading to Japan to begin a career teaching English. She continued on to Australia, where she would end up meeting her husband. 

After marrying, Jason and Louise came to Canada to start a life together, but not before taking a road trip across the country. Eventually, they settled down in Windsor, where they had two beautiful boys. 

As a family, they enjoyed their time travelling together and making memories that would last a lifetime. Throughout the years, Louise devoted her time and love to her boys, they were everything to her. 

Louise will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, her strength, and her courage. She had a calming presence, and was always there with a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on. Her beautiful smile could light up any room, and she cherished time spent with family and friends. 

Louise touched the lives of so many—from the students she taught and coworkers she shared her days with, to the many friends she made along the way. Her kindness, love, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

We love you Louise, forever and always. 

As per Louise’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A service will be held in the Youth Chapel at Parkwood Gospel Church, 3005 Temple Dr, Windsor, ON N8W 5E5 on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Louise's Life will follow in the gymnasium with an English style tea until 2:00 pm. To honour Louise, ladies please wear a fancy hat.

In memory of Louise, donations made to Ovarian Cancer Canada or to the Windsor Essex Hospice would be welcomed.
