Lucy Turnbull
Obituary Overview
Lucy Turnbull
With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lucy Turnbull, who left us peacefully and pain-free on September 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Though Parkinson’s challenged her body, it never touched her spirit. Lucy faced each day with quiet strength, resilience, and unwavering grace. She never lost her wit, humour, or her courageous smile. Even in the most difficult moments, she remained a source of comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love to her family and all who knew her.
Her laughter filled our homes, her hands held us steady, and her love carried us through every season of life.
Lucy was predeceased by her loving husband, Mike Turnbull, and her parents, Ruth and Gordon Lefebvre. She will be forever missed by her children, Michael (Aubrey) and Courtney, and was the proud and devoted “Grammy” to Scarlett and Ollie. She was a cherished daughter-in-law of Mary Turnbull (and the late Charles). Lucy is also remembered with love by her siblings, the late Joe, the late Jill (John), Todd (Peggy), Diane, and Christy (late Larry), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends—especially Barb, Angie, and Debbie, with whom she shared countless memories.
The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and PSWs at The Villages at St. Clair for their exceptional compassion, care, and dignity shown throughout Lucy’s journey.
Until we meet again, Mom—the sky is the limit.
As per Lucy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice (Wyandotte), 519-254-2585.
