It’s with heavy hearts the family of Maggie Ciccotelli announces her passing on September 2, 2025 at the age of 75.
Beloved wife of the late Michael Ciccotelli.
Cherished mother to Tania Cuglietta (Gino).
Proud Nan to Spencer, Cameron, and Mackenzie.
Godmother to Scott Marier, Chantell Payne-Zoldi, and Jade Zoldi.
Forever remembered by her siblings the late Paul Virag, Rose Virag (Steve Bocska), the late Tibor Zoldi, Thomas Zoldi, Cathy Rossi (the late Tony), Margaret Zoldi (Andrew Dupuis), Bill Zoldi, and Christine Pribanic.
Dear Aunt to Karen, Lisa, Michelle, Kyle, Matthew, TJ, the late Jessica, Rosemary, Steve Jr., Richard, Chantell, Jade, Bill Jr., the late Kenny, Scott, the late Jason, Nikki, Desideria, Bella, Brooklyn, Amber, and Todd and many great nieces and great nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Tizadar and Rose (nee Kajdocsi) Virag.
Maggie will be deeply missed by her extended family members, and friends whose lives she touched with her unwavering kindness and generosity.
A woman of strength and fierce compassion, Maggie worked in a factory for many years before returning to school, where she became a computer technician through St. Clair College, eventually joining their staff.
Maggie was deeply committed to service both in her community and her faith. She was an active and dedicated member of Cutting Edge Church. Her biggest act of love, however, was as a foster mother through Children’s Aid Society over 15 years, where she cared for and nurtured many children, providing them with love and a sense of belonging.
In recent years, Maggie lived at Heron Lodge, where she wasn’t just a resident, she was a cornerstone of the community. As an active member of the Resident Council, she brought warmth, leadership, and heart to both staff, residents, and their families. Her presence there left a lasting impact, filled with memories and laughter.
Maggie was known for her sharp wit, deep compassion, and unwavering honesty. She spoke her mind and lived her values, and everyone who met her walked away better for it. Her legacy is one of love, strength, faith, and an open door to anyone in need.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Cutting Edge Church, 1566 Parent Ave, Windsor, ON. Visitation will take place from 11:00am-1:00pm. The Service will take place from 1:00pm-2:00pm where all will be welcome to share memories. A Luncheon will follow at the church from 2:00pm-4:00pm
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cutting Edge Church Youth Program in Maggie’s memory
