Es con profunda tristeza que anunciamos el fallecimiento de María del Carmen García Prado, amorosa mamá, abuelita, esposa e hija. Estuvo rodeada a distancia y en persona en todo momento por su familia. Recuerdan su alegria y sentido del humor, su mama Emma, su esposo Toño, su hijos Toñin (Paty), Yoyis (Hassan), Piquito (Silvia) y Ceci (Vaughn), sus nietos Nane, Keny, Amircito, Finito, Zuzu y Sethito

Peacefully with her children by her side, It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a strong, proud and courageous woman, Maria Garcia Prado, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 64. Maria will finally meet with her dad whom she missed the most.

Devoted mother of Jose Antonio (Patricia), Gloria (Hassan), Cesar (Silvia) and Cecilia (Vaughn). Cherished grandmother of Daphne, Kenya, Amir, Yousef, Zuzu and Gael. Adored daughter of the late Antonio Prado, and Emma Prado.

Maria’s unique personality and amusing ways will forever be cherished. They will always remember her singing and her deep love for her children and grandchildren, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

Her memory will endure through her children, ensuring that her grandchildren and future generations will come to know and appreciate the remarkable woman she was.

The family would like to thank the General hospital and Saint-Vincent Hospice staff for their assistance and excellent care for her during this difficult time.

Mom, I’ll always love you. You were a strong woman, and I’m certain you’re having a wonderful time with your dad. Play with him lots and patiently await our reunion. We eagerly anticipate the many years that lie ahead before we can finally reunite.
