It is with great sadness that the family of Marian Erica Reese Taylor Johnson announces her passing. She left us peacefully on October 17, 2025, at the age of 84.
Born and raised in New Zealand, Marian later moved to Canada, where she worked as an Occupational Therapist, dedicated to helping others with compassion and care.
Marian will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Sharon Johnson (Gary Hall), Christine Caba (Joe Caba), Karen Leadlay, and Debbi Butts (John Butts); Special Nana to her grandchildren Connor Caba (Kiley Caba), Cody Caba (Ashley Caba), Cameron Caba (Hannah D’Ambrosio), and Brianna Leadlay. She was delighted in welcoming her first great-grandchild, Calvin Caba.
A passionate and talented gardener and baker. Marian grew award-winning Dahlias and found joy in sharing her homemade treats with her grandchildren, caring friends and neighbors.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
In keeping with her wishes. Marian has been cremated, and a private celebration of her life will be held with family at a later date.
