Mary Ann Monika Sorg

April 11,1961 – December 2, 2025

 

It is with great sadness the life of Mary-Ann Sorg has come to an end on December 2, 2025 at the age of 64 years old. Daughter of the late Moritz (2015) and Marianne (2022) Sorg. She will be sadly missed by her sister Claudia Sorg Bragaglia. Tante to Claudia Bragaglia. Survived by relatives in Germany including Tante Monika, Elisabeth and Hildegarde, Uncle Werner and many cousins in Germany.

Special partner of Jamie Ferriss for over 21 years. He was “her rock”. 

Auntie Mar to Jamie’s kids Drew (Emma) and Paige (her Goddaugther) Ferriss as well as many others. 

She will also be missed by the Ferriss family Kenny (Kim), Bob, Ron (2025) (Kerri), Bev (Keith), Cheryl, Jeff (Stephanie), Dawn (Andrew). Predeceased by Lillian and Gordon “Bud” Clarence, Alan, Clifford, and Scott. She also leaves behind many friends in Canada, USA, and Germany.

A special thank you to Dr Kanjeekal and her team, Tiffany- Nurse  practioner in Windsor, Dr Sugimoto and team in London and also the nursing staff on the 4th Floor west at Met Campus.

Bestfriend to Jill St.Denis for 45 years. Thank you for many memories throughout the years.

As per Mary-Ann’s wishes cremation has taken place.
