It is with heavy hearts that the family of Maureen Lefor announces her passing on 18th June 2026, at the age of 66.
Beloved Wife and best friend of Bruce Lefor.
Loving Mother to Robert & Tara Craine, David & Air Lefor, and Lane & Kristen Lefor.
Adored and cherished Grandmother to Ava, Sawyer, and Lincoln Lefor, and Alice and Remington Craine.
Dear sister to the late Trina Doucette and her sons Ryan and Kyle, and to Karen Weston and her children Jenni and Josh. Loved also by her great niece Aysia Doucette.
She will be forever remembered by her beloved pets Joey, Jack, Sneezy, and the late Jessie, Misha, Max, Mitch, and Tia. Her best friends Gail, Diane, Barb, Heidi, and the late Ruthanne, as well as all of her friends from her long career at Costco (Price Club) brought tremendous joy to her life. She had a special love for Robin and Phil, who she and Bruce became great friends with in her later years.
Maureen loved nothing more than being a mother and wife. Spending time with family at the family home was the most important thing for her. She was a devoted and hard-working provider to her family, and she always strived for giving her family a better life.
She had a generous, energetic, and loving personality. Spending time with her grandchildren and friends brought tremendous joy to her. She made everyone feel loved, ensuring people around her felt cared for and heard.
She loved animals, and volunteered at animal shelters throughout her life. She loved to travel, and enjoyed visiting her son and daughter in Thailand with Bruce. She was very active, and loved the outdoors, fitness, and cycling, as well as enjoying reading, learning, and trying new things.
All who knew her will miss her glowing, genuine smile and positivity.
Anyone wishing to honour her memory through charity is invited to donate their time or money to their local animal shelter. Her memory can also be honored by taking a few moments each day to appreciate your loved ones, and never forgetting to tell them.
As per Maureen’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
