In Loving Memory of Max Shepherd
October 16, 1955 – June 28, 2026

It is with great sadness that the family of Max Shepherd announces his peaceful passing on June 28, 2026, at the age of 70.

Born on October 16, 1955, in London, Ontario, Max was the beloved son of the late Elmer Shepherd and Agnes Shepherd (née Prest). He was also predeceased by his beloved sister, June Harris (née Shepherd).

When he wasn't working, Max truly enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He loved getting behind the wheel of his Mustang convertible with the top down, the music turned up, and the open road ahead of him. Whether he was spending time on the golf course, cheering on the Boston Bruins or Toronto Blue Jays, or watching professional wrestling, he found joy in the hobbies he loved and was always happy to share them with

family and friends.

Above all else, Max's greatest pride was his family. He was a devoted father and an incredibly proud grandfather who will forever be remembered.

Max leaves behind his loving children: Barry(Jill); Justin; and Brandi. He will be forever

cherished by his beloved grandchildren, Allisyn, Connor, Breydan, and Nathan, who brought endless pride, laughter, and happiness to his life. He also leaves behind many family members and lifelong friends.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Rukavina(Hospice), Nurse Hailey(Paramed), PSW(Tammy), and PSW Webster(Home Instead) who cared for Max with compassion, dignity, and respect throughout his final journey. Their kindness and support will never be forgotten.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the memories Max leaves behind. Many private celebrations of life will take place from Windsor to Muskoka with Max’s final resting spot with his Mother and Father in Parkhill.

Max will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, and he will be deeply missed every day.
