Obituary Overview

PAYNE, Michael

It is with deep sadness that I write this tribute to my husband, Mike’s life.

Mike was a loving father to John (Lonnie), a loving grandpa to JayAnna & Luke, and a loving husband to myself, Connie. He was also a loyal friend who would do anything possible to help out when needed.

Everyone says Mike had a heart of gold & I know that to be true.

We both have friends & family in Huntsville, Perth, Edmonton, London, and now, Amherstburg.

Mike was an avid sports enthusiast, both as a spectator and even more so, as a participant. He loved and played La crosse in his younger years.

Golf was a major part of Mike’s life. He leaves behind many good friends and fellow golfers at Pointe West in Amherstburg.

I want to thank all the friends who came to visit us at Erie Shores Hospital and then at Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington. Also thank all our friends & family for their support at this sad time.

Mikey, I will forever love you and miss you, my friend, my husband, my love.  Connie.
