It's with heavy hearts that the family of Michael John Coulson announces his passing on July 1, 2026 at the age of 61.

Cherished brother to Carol Cyphery (Doug), Rose Crowe (Mike), and David Coulson (Ulla).

Predeceased by his siblings Bob Coulson (the late Pam) and Tim Coulson and his parents Bob and Kay Coulson.

Michael will also be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Affectionately known as the Dancing Machine and the Man with Rhythm, Michael loved rock and roll and could dance all night long. With his sharp style, infectious smile, and signature greeting, “I am so happy today,” he brought joy wherever he went and lit up every room he entered.

As the "official" greeter at Lifetimes, Michael made everyone feel welcome and was surrounded by many people who loved him like family. He will be deeply missed by his friends at the Community Living Ventures Program and by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Lifetimes Residence, Windsor Hospice, and the Community Living Ventures Program for the kindness, care, and compassion shown to Michael throughout his life.

Memorial donations may be made to Community Living Windsor or Windsor Hospice.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held this fall.
