Patricia Gail Reid
Patricia Gail Reid passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, at the age of 86.
Born on December 18, 1939, Patricia lived a life filled with love for her
family, simple joys, and treasured memories. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Tara
Laframboise (Colin). Patricia was a proud and devoted Nan to Kaleigh Gaudette (Josh) and
Teaghan, both of whom held a very special place in her heart. She was also a loving
Nanny to Elliana and Ari, who brought her great happiness with their smiles and laughter.
Patricia was a strong woman who overcame many challenges throughout her life
with resilience and determination. Her strength and perseverance, although some
would call it stubbornness were admired by those who knew her and served as an inspiration to
her family.
She was a lifelong lover of dogs and an enthusiastic fan of the Toronto Blue
Jays. Some of her happiest moments were spent cheering on the Jays, enjoying the
companionship of her beloved dogs, and most importantly, being surrounded by her family.
She was also well known for always finding a good deal and could often be found
proudly bringing home special bargains for her family. It was one of the many
thoughtful ways she showed her love and care for those closest to her.
Patricia was often seen at the ice rink or other sports venues faithfully
supporting and encouraging her granddaughters, cheering them on with pride and unwavering
love. Being present in their lives in this way was something she cherished deeply.
Her granddaughters were the light of her life, and she played an important and
loving role throughout their childhoods and lives. The memories, guidance, and
unconditional love she shared with them will always be cherished.
Patricia will be remembered for her caring heart, her devotion to family, and
the warmth she brought to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will
continue through the generations of her family.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
We love you.
