In Loving Memory

We are saddened to announce the passing of Paul James Walters on Thursday, July 3. Paul, pre-deceased by his parents Ruth and George Walters and his sister Jane, was in his 84th year. He is survived by his loving wife Nicole Buteau; sister Lynn (Carscallen); daughters Karrie Burke (Garry) and Shellie Such (Wayne); grandchildren Shaun, Lindsey and Trevor; great-grandchildren Wyatt and Mac; cousin Gayle; uncle Bill and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

After a twenty-five year career selling real estate, Paul took on an encore career at Sunningdale Golf and Country Club, making new friends while enjoying many rounds.  As a lifelong learner, Paul always asked questions about life, animals and how things were made. His passion was golfing with his family, spending time on his backyard patio and enjoying a cold beer anytime, but especially at our Sunday afternoon ‘family meetings’. His last golf game was an amazing trip to Myrtle Beach with his family last year. 

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held for Paul on Sunday, July 20 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Formaggios Pie Shack, 1600 Highbury Avenue North, London. Wear your favourite golf shirt and bring your best story to share. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army in Paul’s name.
