Rhome Charles Butler passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025 at 65 years of age. He was the beloved Son of the late Carol and Jerry Butler. Loving Father to Aaron (Kaitlin), Larissa, Melissa (Brandon), and Kierra Washington (Anthony). Devoted friend to Denise Daniel. Cherished grandfather to Fayte, Destiny (Malik), Rhome, Taras, Branden, Kierran, Brayden, Hope, Brysen, Kizaiyah, Rhowan, Zakai, and Rhylan, late Aaliyah Washington. Brother to Leahanna Butler-Davis, and predeceased by brother and sister Dale, and Lisa Butler. Dear Uncle of Randy, Jordan Davis (Stephanie), and David Nelson. Rhome is survived by Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He held a special bond with our mother Dianne Johnson (Washington). He spent his career nourishing others as a chef, expressing his love through every meal he prepared. He had a lifelong love for music and was known for his time as a DJ, where he brought energy, joy, and unforgettable moments to many gatherings. He was cherished and looked up to by his great-nephews Isaiah, Randy Davis, Dallas Nelson, and all who has crossed his path. He was also survived by his loyal and beloved dog, Isabella, who rarely left his side.
