Predeceased by parents Joseph & Mary Campeau (nee Turner) and brother James Turner Campeau, (2005).
Survived by his two sons, Joseph (fiance Heidi) & Christopher Campeau, both from Calgary, Alberta. Also survived by his brother Joseph (Ted) & wife Donna Campeau of Windsor and sister Michelle of Guelph. He will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Ric, as he preferred to be called, was a 27-year veteran of Calgary Transit, returning to Windsor once retired. His sons and many friends from Calgary & Windsor were his life. Special mention to lifelong friend Robert Borre.
Ric’s last months were spent in the care of Lachamire Retirement Home - Lakeshore, He was blessed with the best of care and many new friends.
Cremation has taken place with a small family gathering as per his wishes. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice Cremation Windsor.
Donations to the Downtown Mission or Windsor Food Bank in memory of Richard would be greatly appreciated by the family.
