Richard Tripp

With absolute heartbreak, we are mourning Richard Tripp. Ric passed away at home in bed following a terrible battle, with support from family and friends. Beloved father of Jason, Colt, Bronsun, and Tristyn. Proud grandfather of Brooklyn and Taylor, and Evan and Saige. He will be greatly missed by his brothers Randy and Michael. He was predeceased by parents Dick Tripp and Sylvia Munro, and his dear sisters Gail Connelly, Cheryl Jones, and Lorilei Kominar. He will be deeply missed by his partner of 18 years, Kim Kishkon. He was blessed to have many friends who love and care for him, including his best friend Jim Wood who came to his aid at his most dire time of need. Ric worked for and retired from General Motors after about 30 years. His good pals will miss going for motorcycle rides, seeing him at the Sportsman's Club, and laughing and talking about all the good times. He will be held in our yearning hearts with high honor.

Thank you to all the compassionate and helpful nurses from ParaMed, who helped make it possible for him to stay in his home until the end as per his wishes, and who helped make his journey less painful and difficult.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
As per Ric's wishes, cremation has taken place, with arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice.
