Robert "Geoffrey" Robbins
Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that the family of Robert “Geoffrey” Robbins announces his passing. Geoff will be remembered for his warm heart, his witty sense of humor, and the love he carried for his family and friends.
Born on October 19, 1957, Geoff grew up in London, ON where he developed the hardworking spirit and practical skills that would define much of his life. A true jack of all trades, Geoff spent his younger years working in many fields, from roofing to brickwork, before eventually finding his place in automotive quality assurance. No matter the job, he took pride in his workmanship and helping others whenever he could. He was always there to lend a hand when needed.
Outside of work, Geoff found joy in music and guitars, passions that brought comfort and connection throughout his life. He loved hitting the open road on a sunny day with the windows down and some rock and roll blasting out of the speakers. He was an open book who could talk fishing, cars, and sports for hours on end. He was never afraid to get muddy searching for crayfish for fishing excursions or lighting bonfires haphazardly. More recently he found joy in hanging out with his best friend Brian, frequently attending the local pub for some cold beer, companionship, and of course, good tunes.
Above all else, he cherished his family. He leaves behind his beloved children, Kailee (Dan), Christine, their mother Beverley, Aaron, Kevin, and their mother Lynn. Beloved grandfather to his treasured grandchildren, Mya, Jackson, Draven, Scarlett, and Felix, who brought endless pride and happiness to his life. His entire world revolved around his children and grandchildren. Brother to Jennifer, Niki, and the late Natalie. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. A true family man at heart, his loving nature never going unnoticed.
Geoff also had a special love for animals, especially his beloved boxer, Sarah, who held a permanent place in his heart and whom he deeply missed after her passing. An honourable mention to Ella and Halle who have been his fur babies in more recent years.
He will be remembered for his resilience, kindness, and quick-witted sense of humor. Though he will be greatly missed, his spirit lives on through the family and friends who carry his memory forward.
To honour Geoff, take a dog for a walk, drink a cold one, and pick up a guitar and sing, even if you only know half the words.
A celebration of life to be held at a later date.
