Robert Kevin Snare

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Snare, who died peacefully on June 12, 2026.   

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Robert lived a life marked by curiosity, adventure, and connection. He loved travel, a good glass of wine, and his beloved Bouviers. 

 nown for his sense of humour and gift for conversation, Robert could connect with anyone and always had a story to share.  

He is survived by his partner, Susan; his son Arthur and granddaughter Ellie; his daughter Courtney, her husband Josh, and grandchildren Eoin and Lailey; as well as his four siblings and their families.  

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, personal support workers, and healthcare staff at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare in Windsor for the compassion and care they provided during Robert’s final days.  

An open house to celebrate Roberts’s life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m at a private residence. Friends wishing to attend are asked to email tassnare@hotmail.com for location details.
