Robert William "Bob" Brandner

After years of facing many health obstacles,  Robert William "Bob" Brandner passed away, with his  wife by his side on July 12th, 2026.

 Devoted  husband of Susan Brandner (nee Grubb) of 57 years. Beloved father to Robert "Bobby" and David (Lisa) and proud grandfather of Brianna (Brendan) and Tristan  (Lex), and great-grandfather to Emmett, Sadie, Sofie, Theia and Charlie. Predeceased by his parents William and Eva (nee Armbruster). Middle child of two sisters Ruthann (Walter) and predeceased by Elizabeth "Lizzy" (Frank). Brother in law to Robert "Bob" and Lawrence (Jodi). Bob had many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews as the years went on. 

Robert William Brandner was born in Leamington, Ontario on November 11th, 1948. He grew up on a chicken farm in Ruthven. In 1966 Robert met the love of his life while attending high school. The two sweethearts married at Hillman Church on April 26th, 1969. Bob loved fishing, boating and watching the Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs.

 Donations to Erie Shores Hospice would be appreciated. In accordance with Bob's wishes, there will not be a funeral.  A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
