Roger Douglas Henley

June 26, 1953 – February 17, 2026

After a long illness, he is at peace. He was predeceased by his parents, Frances and Norman. 

He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Crawford); his daughter, Tracy (Peter); his grandchildren Zachary, Grace, and Gavin; his brother in law Tom; his brother in law Doug and his wife Georgie and their children; and many cousins. 

He was a member and Past Master of Wimburn Lodge #75 AF & AM, Grand Registry of Nova Scotia.Roger was a longtime employee of Windsor Salt, where he worked as a controller—affectionately known as “the out of control controller.”

Roger loved his Nova Scotia home where he grew up and spent as much time there as he could before and after retirement. He would sit on the verandah and wait for someone to turn up the lane for a visit. They always did.

Roger loved his family and friends, telling stories, playing cards, road trips, a good laugh, and the Broncos.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
