It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Ronald Joseph Lamont at the age of 76 years old.

Ronald passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus after a brief illness.

Loving husband of 53 years to Elaine. Devoted father to Chad and Renee (John). Loving Papa to Kyle (Natasha) and Jesse (Aleisha), and great-grandfather to Silas.

Ron is predeceased by his parents Ernest and Alice Lamont, his sister Barbara, and his brother Ernie.

Ron was retired from Ford Motor Co. where he worked for 30 years.

Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Ron knew he was a kind, fun loving, and generous man who always made time to lend a helping hand.

As per Ron’s wishes, a private family cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in I.C.U. at Hotel Dieu and Met Campus for their wonderful care and compassion.
