It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sam, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the age of 18.

Adored oldest child of Sarah and Gregory Rudge and beloved sibling of Zoey and Piper Rudge.
Cherished grandchild of Gregory Sr. and Marlene Rudge, Hermina Harris (Joey) and predeceased by Cyril Harris (Libby). Sam’s memory will always be cherished by their aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank the Oncology Department, Medical Day Unit, and Orthopedic Surgeons at CHEO, as well as the staff at Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice for their support during Sam’s 2-year battle with cancer.

Sam will be remembered for their quick wit, artistic talent, and intelligence. Sam knew who they were and refused to be anything but authentic and true to themselves. We will miss their in-depth debates and their beautiful dimples that could light up a room.

At Sam’s request, no formal service will be held. Instead, the family will host a Celebration of Sam’s Life at the Perth Civitan on November 21, 2025, from 3-7pm. 3-5pm will be a visitation style where people can pay their respects and then from 5-7pm, family and friends will have the opportunity to speak about Sam.
