Sandra Joyce Mulholland
Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our mother, Sandra Joyce Mulholland on July 25, 2026, at the age of 83. Sandra passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
Sandra was born on May 23, 1943, to Marion and Stanley Dobson. Her biological father, Stanley, made the ultimate sacrifice during the war before she had the opportunity to know him. She was later lovingly raised by Norm Dobson, whom she knew as her father. Throughout her life, Sandra carried a deep love for her family and treasured the memories she shared with them.
Sandra was predeceased by her beloved parents, Marion and Norm Dobson; her biological father, Stanley Dobson; her younger brother, Fred Dobson; and her younger sister, Jo-Ann Cameron.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her son, Bradley Squires, and his wife, Phyllis; her daughter, Kimberley Squires; her grandson, Shane Squires, and his wife, Rachel; and her treasured great-granddaughter, Brighton Squires. She is also lovingly remembered by her nephews, Paul Dobson, Ian Dobson, and Darryl Cameron, along with extended family and friends whose lives she touched over the years.
There is comfort in knowing that Sandra is now reunited with her beloved mother, Marion, whom she dearly missed every day since her passing in 1995. Their reunion is a source of peace for those who mourn her loss.
Sandra will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Rest in peace, Mom
Love Brad & Kim
Keeping with Sandra’s wishes, there will be no funeral, but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends to gather, share stories and raise a glass in her honour. The family would like to thank the ICU doctors and nursing staff at PRHC for their wonderful care and compassion.
For those who wish to honour Sandra’s memory please consider making a donation to Community Care Peterborough. Your generosity will help to allow people across the rural and urban regions maintain their independence and dignity. Sandra greatly benefited from the many wonderful staff, volunteers and programs that they had to offer.
