Shirley Jean (Davis) Krysa
Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
Shirley passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the age of 83 with family and loved ones by her side. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Great-Aunt, Nana and Friend. She will be deeply missed by her children Kelly (Rick), Darrell (Tracey), grandchildren, Colin (Jill), Greg (Mary), Andrew (Braedi), and Alyssa (Adam), great-grandchildren, Harrison, Sophie, Cecilia, Kiera and Emmara.
She will also be missed by her extended family, Dana, Aaron, Paige and Michael, and her “second” family, Sharon (Randy), Doug (Tammy), Roy (Jennifer) and long time friend, Betty.
Her siblings, Joyce (Bob), Karen, Betty, John (Heather), Darlene, Barbara (Tom), and Steven, as well as many nieces and nephews, especially Michelle and Corey who will keep her memory close to their hearts.
Shirley enjoyed camping with her partner Don (predeceased) at Morgan's Point and Windmill Point Park & Campground and the many friends they made over the years.
She loved playing crib, cards, games with her family and friends, sitting around a campfire, watching the Montreal Canadiens and Senators. She could make soup out of next to nothing, and “feed an army” on short notice.
Shirley was a member of the Fonthill Legion and volunteered in the kitchen for many years up until a few months before she passed.
Thank you to the nurses from St. Elizabeth's, the Palliative EMS works, and PSWs that attended at her home over the last few months.
Shirley has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will take place at the Fonthill Legion in the spring. Shirley will return to her birth place for a private burial.
