In Loving Memory

Simon “Sy” Molgaard Kristensen in his 76th year of London, Ontario passed away at Victoria Hospital on September 8th, 2025 surrounded by family at his side. Many thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Victoria Hospital in the CCTC unit during Sy’s stay.

Born September 14,1948 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Cherished son of Kristian (1970) and Klara (1989) Kristensen. Brother to Hanna (Bob 1996) Snow and sister-in law Marion (Ivan 1991) Kristensen, uncle to Preben (Deborah) Kristensen, Ralph (Denise) Kristensen, Dana (Joanne) Snow, Annet Vang, Mariann (Larry) Shue, Lisa Durham. Predeceased by siblings Ivan, Edith, Steve, and Susann Durham Schaefer (niece).

Sy was a loving husband to Linda (Smith) Kristensen for 56 years after they met in high school. He was a devoted father to Lisa (Dale) Simmons and Richard (Liz) Kristensen and grandpa to Jack and Marcus Kristensen.

Sy was a transport driver for 40 years and will missed by friends. He had a love and passion for muscle cars (Rambler and Vette). He enjoyed travelling to Las Vegas and winning big. Sy enjoyed having a Labatt Blue and watching the Blue Jays game with Bob.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. As expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Sy’s time with us was way too short, his love, strength, determination, generosity and spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
