Obituary Overview

Stephan Bruno Herceg

Stephan Bruno Herceg
Steve passed away peacefully in June of 2025. He is survived by his daughter Angelica,
sister Chloe and niece Gemma; predeceased by his parents Ezio (1999) and Doris (2019)
Herceg. Steve was born and raised in Windsor and attended Massey High School in the
70s. He became a jack of all trades—a MacGyver of sorts and was considered the
“sage” of the neighbourhood. During his lifetime, Steve had many friends he considered
family and a network of acquaintances he worked with in factories and on
construction/renovation sites. Those who knew Steve best can appreciate his love of
music (evident in his vinyl album collection), his gourmet cooking skills, his love of
fishing, how much he enjoyed watching hockey and football games, his unique hosting
skills and his authentic and brilliant creativity when making something out of nothing.
So, put on some Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Jethro Tull, Moody Blues… and open a beer in
Steve’s honour.
Rest in Peace, dear Steve - “Life’s a long song…” 🎵
