Steven Rainville
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Steven Rainville, who passed away on December 10, 2025. Steven was born in Scarborough, Ontario, to Steve and Lila Rainville. He is lovingly survived by his sister, Patti Lightheart (Mark).
During his years at Kennedy High School, Steven was a dedicated member of the track and field team, where he discovered his talent and passion for long-distance running. This passion carried into adulthood, and he proudly participated in the Detroit Marathons.
Steven’s journey with mental health was a challenging one throughout his life, marked by many struggles and moments of perseverance. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the healthcare professionals and social workers who supported Steven over the years with care and compassion.
Steven will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place.
