Obituary Overview

In Loving Memory

With heartbroken sadness we announce that Suzanne passed away on June 11, 2026, in London, after a courageous battle with cancer. Suzanne is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Scott Anderson of London, daughters Erin of Toronto and Claire of London, her adoring mom and best friend June Goodhand of London, and mother Marian Leslie of Toronto. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Vikki Coleman of Alberta, father-in-law Dan Coleman of British Columbia, and her extended family of stepbrothers and stepsisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She is predeceased by her father, Dr. John Richardson, and stepdad Gerald Goodhand.
A Western graduate, Suzanne began her working career at Canada Trust bank. She advanced through various positions, and upon the birth of her youngest daughter, she transitioned to being a full-time mom, which she loved. With her volunteering at school and on field trips, she became a well-known mom to all the kids. Suzanne had fun cooking, always seeking out new, interesting recipes to try. She loved to travel with her husband, Scott, especially Caribbean cruises and overnight getaways to the casinos. In the summer you would often find her on the back deck, enjoying the sun with a glass of wine. She was also an avid fan of the Blue Jays.
Suzanne’s daughters were the light of her life and are her enduring legacy. She was so very proud of the incredible young women they’ve become and was always eager for their latest life updates or to hear the next funny story.
Suzanne was also dedicated to her mom, June, who will miss her immensely, and will always treasure their frequent phone calls, lunches and get-togethers.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s hospital and Victoria hospital. Your commitment to help Sue, and to support us, through this terribly difficult battle, was evident, and we are forever grateful.
If you would like to make a donation in honour of Suzanne, please consider the Canadian Cancer Society.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
