Terrance “Terry” (Kip) Kipping
July 18, 1949 – May 7th, 2026
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Terrance “Terry” Kipping, known affectionately to all as Kip, who left us surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on July 18, 1949, Kip was a man who defined himself through his devotion to his family, his steady presence, and his wide circle of friends. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Patty (née Bouliane), with whom he built a life full of laughter and memories.
Kip’s greatest pride was his children and the vibrant families they grew. He will be forever missed by: Sarah (Clayton) Canzi, Jessica (Kevin) Heffernan, Joey Kipping, Jean (Loreto) Scarola
He was the world’s proudest Papa to Anthony, Sofia, Colin, Maynard, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Wyatt, Aurora, and Joseph.
Kip is now reunited with those who went before him, including his parents, Joseph and Nancy Kipping, and his parents-in-law, Hank and Madeline Bouliane. He was also predeceased by his siblings Wayne, Greg, and Brian Kipping, Bonnie and Ron Johnson and Barbara Richards.
Kip’s memory will be cherished by his siblings: Heather (Neil) Carriere, Diane (Bob) Fenton, Lynda (Paul) Hughes, and Mark (Shelley) Kipping.
He also leaves behind a close-knit group of brothers and sisters-in-law: Linda (Bob) McLeod, Kathy (Tom) Gagnon, John (Linda) Bouliane, Mary (Doug) Betteridge, Diane (Richard Murray) Bouliane, and Nancy (Keith) Washbrook.
He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a lifetime of friends—especially the crew at the Hook and Ladder Club.
We would like to share a special thank you to the "angels" at the Hospice of Windsor. To the doctors, nurses, and volunteers—thank you for not only caring for Kip with such tenderness but for looking after our entire family as well. Your kindness provided us with peace when we needed it most. For those wishing to honor Kip’s memory, please consider a donation to this incredible organization.
In accordance with Kip’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Instead, the family invites you to keep your favorite "Kip story" ready, as a Celebration of Life will be held this summer (details to be announced at a later date).
He will be missed forever.
