It's with heavy hearts the family of Thomas Albert Beneteau announces his passing on July 18, 2026 at the age of 68.

Beloved husband of Marcella.

Cherished father of Phillip (Kayla).

Proud grandpa to Bo and grandpaw to Charlie.

Forever remembered by his siblings Marc (Mary) and Janet (Joe). Tom is predeceased by his brother Robert and his parents William and Ena.

Brother-in-law of Jan (John).

Tom will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Tom was a man who truly enjoyed life's simple pleasures. An avid sports fan, he especially loved golf, hockey, and baseball. Tom dedicated 20 years of service as a machinist at Tech Centre. He and Marcella shared a passion for travel and were fortunate to cruise and travel through many parts of the world together.

Tom will be dearly missed by his friends from the McDonald's coffee group, where he faithfully gathered each morning for nearly 20 years. He will be especially missed by Mike, Don, Jesse, and Barry.

He took great pride in his 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, enjoyed playing cards, and treasured the time spent with family and friends.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their love and support, especially during these most recent times.

In keeping with Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph's Parish, River Canard, on Thursday, July 23, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor-Essex Humane Society or St. Joseph's Parish, River Canard.
