In Loving Memory
JOHNSTON, Thomas (TJ)
Surrounded by family in his 78th year. Cherished caregiver Susan, his grandson Michael and his son Thomas and his spouse Dakota. He spent the last 6 years with pancreatitis, a very painful and long condition.
He will be loved and missed by his grandchildren Lily (Thomas Jr’s child with Laurie), Bryce Grendys and Cora Catherine Angel Wright (Christina’s children), as well as a great family friend Tim Grendys. Michael Johnston (son to Catherine Primeau).
He will be loved and missed further by his great-grandchildren as well, Adrian Johnston and Jayden Bardawill (Carly and Michael’s sons) as well as Brylee Bardawill, Gemma Philips-Bardawill and Dakota Bardawill.
Michael has been a wonderful help with cooking, caregiving and driving Tom and I to our appointments. He will also be remembered and missed by his brother Wayne and his wife Carrese, which extends to Wade, Jeffrey, Lynn, and their children.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a blessing ceremony for Tom for the good man that he was, this ceremony will be done by our longtime family friend Rev. Troy Dingwell who married both of our daughters. A celebration of life will take place at his golf club, the Maple Ridge, in July with flyers and sign-ups later.
