William "Bill" McBean

In Loving Memory

It is with great sadness that the family of William "Bill" George McBean of London announces his passing on July 27, 2026, at the age of 81.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 57 years, Darlene, and will be deeply missed by his children, Jim (Gina), Janis (Mark), and Julie. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Bobby, Billy, Ty, Taya, Emma, and Jenna.

Bill will also be fondly remembered by his large extended family in Ontario and Quebec, as well as the many friends he made throughout his years in the trucking industry, where he was fondly known on the CB radio as "Billy Bayou."

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Violet McBean; his siblings, Bob, Flora, Albert, and Margaret; his parents-in-law, Roy and Helen Cadick; his brother-in-law, Bob; and his sister-in-law, Joanne.

Cremation has taken place, and, in keeping with Bill's wishes, he will rest peacefully at home beside his favourite chair.

His logbook is closed, and he leaves us with one final 10-4.
