It’s with heavy hearts the family of William “Bill” Ray Main announces his passing on October 21, 2025 at the age of 78.
Beloved husband to Theresa Main (nee Duquette) and pre-deceased by his loving wife Patricia Main (nee Butzer).
Cherished father to Cynthia Jameson (Mike) and William Main Jr. (Stacy Amlin).
Proud grandpa to Noah, Reid, Grayson, Madison, and Katelyn.
Forever remembered by his brother Donald Main (Lynda).
Bill is predeceased by his parents Clifford and Ethel Main (nee MacMillan) and his niece Lisa Main.
He will be dearly missed by his nephew Sean (Donna), niece Jodi (Steve), extended family, and friends.
Bill lived a life filled with purpose, laughter, and generosity. Whether he was casting a line on the water, sharing a game of cards, or playing pool with his friends in the CueNique Pool League, he always found joy in the moment. A proud veteran and dedicated Ford Motor Company employee for 30 years, Bill was also a loyal member of Local 200. His more than 45 years of sobriety were a testament to his strength and commitment to helping others along their own journeys. In honour of Bill’s giving spirit, the family encourages donations to a local charity of your choice.
