Obituary Overview
William (Ted) Rowe
William (Ted) Rowe
May 30,1942 – November 29, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William (Ted) Rowe in his 83rd year. Beloved husband and soulmate of Sandra Rowe for over 60 years. Cherished father of Kim & Kurt and Jennifer & Jeff. Loving “Beba” to Ashley, Dallas & Ciara, and Jessica Windibank. Proud “Great Beba” to Harper and Bo Windibank.
Predeceased by his mother, Audrey Rowe-Wilkinson, and father, William Rowe, and brother Lorne Rowe. Survived by his sister Audrey Ellen Ogden and family.
Ted graduated in design at C.C.S. in Detroit and worked as a graphic designer at Chrysler in Michigan for many years.
Ted was such a creative soul. His real passion was to create treasures in his shed. He loved making crutches and ping pong paddles into one-of-a-kind decorative fish, quirky little “pot heads” from old kettles, teapots and scrap metals and artistic lamps and chandeliers. Ted had numerous collections and exhibited immense joy when a friend or neighbour would need a part or something to fix. He would disappear and inevitably return with not one, but a wide selection of parts. He delighted in fixing things, refurbishing trash into treasures, working around the house and enjoying a BBQ on the patio with family and friends.
Ted’s creativity and witty sense of humour will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever treasured.
The family would like to thank everyone at the Windsor Cancer Centre for compassionate care.
Cremation has taken place with a celebration of life at a later date.
If you so desire, donations can be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Ted.
